Pick your pace
An intensive is very good if you’ve had some lessons and want to get on the road quickly. It works for complete beginners too: progress is slower at first, but it’s not long before driving becomes natural.
I know an intensive is a big investment, so if you have any questions, get in touch and I’ll give you all the information you need before you book.

Intensive FAQs
Is an intensive course right for me?
Intensives suit people who have had some lessons and want to get on the road quickly, as you drive three to four hours a day. They work for complete beginners too, but progress can feel slow at first. Get in touch and I’ll help you decide.
How long does an intensive course take?
You’ll usually drive three to four hours a day, so a course takes from around a week to a few weeks depending on its length and your availability.
Does the price include my test?
No. Test fees are paid to the DVSA: £23 for the theory test and £62 for a weekday practical test. You’ll need to have passed your theory test before booking the practical.
Can complete beginners do an intensive?
Yes. Progress can feel slow to begin with, but it’s not long before driving starts to feel natural. The 30 or 40-hour courses give beginners the most room.
